Summary

BeeBetter: Flags is a flag-trivia game. We collect a small amount of non-personal usage data to operate and improve the app. We do not ask for your name, email, or contacts, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

• A random device identifier. When you first open the app it generates a random ID stored on your device. It is not your name and is not Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). We use it to group your activity and apply fair-use rate limits.
• Usage & analytics events. Actions such as opening the app, completing a round, or viewing a screen, with non-identifying context (e.g. game mode, score, region).
• Content you choose to send. Questions you type into the in-app “Ask” assistant, and feedback you submit from the About page.
• Basic technical info. App version and timestamps.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, precise location, photos, or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

• Operate, maintain, and improve the app and its content.
• Understand which features are used and how the app performs.
• Generate answers to the questions you ask the assistant.
• Read and act on the feedback you send us.
• Prevent abuse (e.g. rate-limiting automated traffic).

Who processes the data

We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers. We use a small number of service providers to run the app:

• Supabase — hosts our database and backend, storing the data described above.
• Anthropic — processes the questions you type into “Ask” in order to generate a response.

Data retention

We keep this data for as long as it is useful for the purposes above. You can ask us to delete the data associated with your device’s identifier at any time (see Contact).

Children

BeeBetter: Flags is a general-audience trivia game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can choose not to use the Ask or feedback features, and you can request deletion of your data. Uninstalling the app stops any further collection.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
